An event can only be rescheduled once. If you cancel your party on the day or 2 days before there will be a £50 rebooking/cancellation fee charge. Booking fees are non-refundable.
6)Number of Children
You will be advised on the number of children to have at your party and how long will be needed to complete your request.
We aim to paint between 10-13 faces within 1 hour, however this can be affected by children/adults not ready to be painted no knowing what they want and stopping for food. I will do my best to get through as many faces within this time.
Glitter faces we can do more children due to the application being a lot quicker
7)Extra Children
If when we arrive there is more children than mentioned this may result in designs being altered to be made quicker to ensure we paint all faces. If we end up running over on our time due to having more children there than told then this will be charged at an extra £5 per child.
8)Face Painting Materials used
I only use professional water based face paints which are fully compliant with EU and FDA cosmetic regulations. These paints are hypoallergenic and include anti-bacterial properties which are specifically for use on the face and skin. Paint can easily be removed using mild soap and water. Some skin types are prone to some very mild initial staining – a small amount of mild soap will remove this gently.
9) No under 3s
It is not recommended to paint faces of anyone under 3 years of age. The face paint manufacturers do not recommend paint for anyone below this age and very young children can sometimes be overwhelmed by the results. We may paint a small design on hands or arms of children younger than 3 years of age but this will be at the discretion of the face painter. Customer understands if the face painter says that they can not paint that child then they will remain civil.
10)Illness
Customer understands that we will not paint anyone who is obviously unwell (runny nose/temperature/rash) or has any other visible skin complaint (eczema; chicken pox; acne; cold sore; open wounds; eye infections etc). This can infect our paints and we won’t be able to use them again. If our face painter believes a child to be unwell or not suitable for face painting the child won’t be able to be painted, the customer accepts this.
11)Child distress
We will not paint anyone against their wishes (this may result in stopping painting before the final result if a child becomes uncomfortable or changes their mind). Please do not force a child to be painted if they really are uneasy or unwilling – face painting should be an enjoyable experience for both the child and parent.
12)Sensitive Skin
If you believe the person to be painted has sensitive skin, with approval from parent or guardian we will paint on the child’s arm, as we can not be held liable for any allergic reaction to the paint.
13) Customer responsibility:
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all parents are aware in advance that a face painter will be on site. Other children’s parents/guardians need to be aware of this just incase a child is allergic. Please remember not all children are aware that they are allergic therefore require an adult present for their turn.
14)Supervision
The customer understands that Children must be under constant adult supervision whilst being painted
14) Allergies:
The customer must inform A Whole New World of any allergies to products such as nail polish, latex, acrylics, temporary tattoos, or face paints prior to event or party. Client understands that A Whole New World Event Entertainment is not responsible for any injuries or allergic reactions that occur at your event.
15)Clothing/Material
Face paint MAY STAIN any material it comes in contact with. Wearing face paint to bed is not recommended. Although we use care when applying the face paint, it is the customers /parents responsibility to ensure it does not come in contact with your clothing or other material, the customer understands and accepts that we can not be held responsible for any stains that may happen.
16) Discipline and Non-Participation:
The Face painting is responsible for only the control of face painting not for the flow of the event and other activities. The Customer is responsible for monitoring disruptive behaviour and attending to any child who does not want to participate.
17) Parking
We do require a parking space at your venue address, if parking is difficult please let us know in advance, due to the amount of heavy equipment we have if parking isn’t on site then start time may be delayed and time will be lost. Customer understands if parking requires payment then this will be added onto the balance of the party or ideally paid in advance by the customer.
18) Location:
Proper accommodations will be provided to the Performer. If rain occurs and the event has been scheduled outdoors, it is the responsibility of the customer to arrange for an indoor event or the entertainment will be cancelled without refund. For extreme heat and cold, we recommend holding your party indoors. Activities may be affected depending on the conditions, hot weather will melt our paints, customer understands that if there is no shade for the face painter they have rights to leave with full pay. Please make sure we have easy access to your venue, due to having heavy equipment. If parking is a distance or upstairs and we haven’t been made aware this could make us late setting up for your party. Please provide a table And chair for the painter.
19) Liability:
The Customer agrees to hold and keep harmless A Whole New World and its Face painters from any and all property damages and/or bodily injury damage caused by the Customer’s guests. Customer agrees to not hold A Whole New World responsible for inclement weather or other Acts of God that may cause cancellation of the event.
20) Other Companies
We do not usually work along side any other companies, however as we are face painting we may accept this if this has been approved beforehand as we won’t work with all companies. If we arrive at the venue and find another company without our knowledge there we are in our rights to leave with full payment as this is stated on your t&cs.
21) COVID-19
If we return into lockdown and your party is unable to go ahead, unfortunately we will not be refunding booking fees, these are none refundable and be transferred to another event or for another party booking.
We advice:
• Sanitiser available to use before eating food if indoor area unavailable
• children & adults attending are kept to the restricted number
• Birthday child blows candles out on a cake that isn’t going to be shared between other people - this is because spit/germs will potentially be transmitted onto the cake.
•Our water and paint brushed will be cleaned regularly, please note we do not use separate brushes for each child. We do however use different sponges.
HOW TO REMOVE OUR PRODUCTS
The professional face paint we use is recommended to be removed by soap and water
To help prevent staining, do not rinse the face first. Thoroughly lather the face with a mild soap (use a small amount of water to dampen), and THEN rinse off with water. Avoid getting paint or soap in the eyes/mouth.
For lingering stains on the skin, apply a face cream/lotion or skin-safe oil, let it sit for 15 minutes, then gently wipe off with a washcloth or repeat washing. Makeup remover is also effective.
While cosmetic and safe for the face, it must be removed with a damp cloth/wipe by wiping AWAY from the eyes carefully.
Please see your messages on how to proceed with your booking. Thankyou
